The more experience an attorney has, the better representation you receive. Experience isn’t just a matter of the number of years an attorney has worked – it’s the nature of the work that’s been done.
Richard Jaye has practiced criminal law for his entire year. After graduating from UCLA, he worked for the Los Angeles public defender’s office. From there he moved to private practice, representing people accused of felons and misdemeanors. He then moved to New York City and spent five years prosecuting those accused of felonies.
Richard and his wife then moved to Durango where he worked in the District Attorney’s Office before returning to private practice. For over 30 years he’s been representing people accused of every imaginable felony and misdemeanor.
Richard’s experience with every aspect of criminal law provides clients with the knowledge that he will get the best possible deal for each of them. If that’s impossible, he will force the District Attorney to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt at trial. In Richard’s career he’s participated in many hundreds of trials. He is never afraid or unwilling to fight for his clients.
